It’s important to understand that Wikipedia also refers to lists of other sites sometimes.
As the screen shot shows, there is some internal debate at Wikipedia whether they should engage in that activity however I would try hard to find those lists.

Footnotes at Wikipedia
Another good resource is the footnotes in any Wikipedia article, usually with outbound links to the subject you’re curious about. Those links have been reviewed by humans and are often expert sites that might not be very good at SEO so might not appear in normal search results.
